Jack decided to go for a more thorough hive inspection because one hive looked like it might swarm due to overpopulation. Jack decided to use the strong hive (Juniper) to strengthen a weak hive (Marigold). All went well, I got stung once when I had my gloves off but it's nothing compared to being stung by a yellow jacket.

I recently found one article on a link between a pesticide used to protect the corn seed in Germany and bee die off at the hive. The pesticide was immediately banned by the German Govt. On the face of it, this does not appear to be the same phenomena as the bee hive collapse syndrome that is presently occurring the US, but this seems to be an important story. Please check it out:
